PHA Thermal Bridge Calculations Course

PHA Certified Passive House Consultant Training

The US Passive House Academy returns to San Francisco to offer this eight day detailed and technical course covering all aspects of Passive House Design including building envelope, mechanical systems and PHPP. Timed in advance of Certified Passive House Consultant exam, the course will cover principles that can be applied to all building types, including commercial, domestic, new build, and retrofit projects.

AIA continuing education credits will also be available for qualified attendees.

The Passive House Approach to Zero Net Energy Homes (PG&E)

The State of California has set a goal for all new homes to be zero net energy by 2020. The Passive House standard, with its emphasis on optimized building enclosures, is a viable, cost-effective and field-verified means of reaching this goal. This class will introduce the Passive House standard and demonstrate its applicability to zero net energy homes, drawing on experience with actual projects in California, the US and Europe.
